In 1903,Mario Baccellati began an apprenticeship in goldsmithing at Beltrani e besnati in Milan and in 1919 ,he opened his first shop in via Santa Margherita.in the following years,the fame of Buccellati jewels began to attact the attention of royalty all over the world in 1925 ,he opened a shop in Rome ,in via Tornabuoni and it was in 1953 that shop in New york opened .in 1965 the three sons of Mario,who were goldsmiths themselves ,decided to create their own company.
